A field guide, not a rumour mill

Independent · sourced · checked before launch

This is a fan-made reference for Warhammer Survivors. It exists to make the launch window less noisy: official facts, observed play and community reports are kept separate, and missing values are named rather than filled with a guess.

What this site is

The Warhammer Survivors Field Guide is a static, independent fan website. It covers the October 2026 demo and the announced launch content: characters, weapons, evolutions, stages, enemies, bosses, status effects, pick-ups, builds, progression and the practical details around the 10 November 2026 release.

It is not an official wiki, a storefront, a code generator or a news publisher. There is no account system, no newsletter, no comment section and no advertising script. The aim is a clean reference that tells you how sure we are.

Editorial method

We work in three passes:

  1. Primary source first. Auroch Digital’s store page and FAQ, official Steam announcements, Warhammer Community, PlayStation.Blog and Xbox Wire set the baseline.
  2. Hands-on press second. IGN, PC Gamer and similar outlets can demonstrate a mechanic, evolution or stage that the developer has not documented in detail.
  3. Community evidence last. Steam discussion reports are useful for finding a recipe, but they are labelled and never presented as official confirmation.

When the three disagree, the primary source wins. When no source exists, the page says “not announced” or “unconfirmed”. We do not invent numeric damage, cooldowns, drop rates, unlock costs or boss HP to make a page look complete.

Evidence labels

  • Official Published by Auroch, Warhammer, PlayStation, Xbox or a storefront.
  • Press-tested A hands-on preview performed or observed the mechanic.
  • Community report A player report, usually from the October demo. Useful as a lead; not verified by the developer.
  • Pending launch Named but not yet given a value, unlock route or final behaviour.

A page can combine labels. For example, the Heavy Bolter result is official while the Dice Cube companion is a community report. That distinction is the point, not a technicality.

Updates and corrections

Every page carries a checked date. The launch build, store descriptions and patch notes will override this archive after 10 November 2026. The news page records dated source changes. We do not bump a date without a source change, and we do not pretend a page is live if the evidence is still from the demo.

If a fact is wrong, the fastest correction path is the primary source linked at the bottom of the page. The official game bug report form is for game issues, not site corrections; it is linked from Auroch’s FAQ. We do not have a public corrections inbox yet, so the site deliberately avoids a contact form that would not reach anyone.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with Games Workshop, Auroch Digital, poncle or any platform holder. It is not endorsed by them. The domain and design are independent, and the guide does not reproduce another wiki’s article text or layout.

External links are marked with a nofollow relationship. They are provided for verification, not as an endorsement. A link to a store page is not an affiliate link.

Images and trademarks

Game imagery is used for identification and commentary. Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar and associated marks belong to Games Workshop Limited. Auroch Digital and poncle marks belong to their respective owners. Official screenshots and key art remain the property of their owners.

All images on the site have descriptive alt text. If an official sprite has not been published for a named character, the page uses a monogram rather than inventing a portrait.

Privacy and technology

The site is built with Astro and deployed as static files, intended for Cloudflare Pages. Search uses a local JSON index fetched by the browser. The run planner stores the selected champion, weapon and companion in your browser’slocalStorage; it does not send the plan to a server. Read the privacy policy for the complete detail.

Editorial method

Official claims, press observations and community reports are kept separate. Where Auroch has not published a value, this guide says so instead of filling the gap.
